WM Internships

Which types of skills from wealth management jobs/internships can be leveraged for other finance paths?

Not that I have little interest in this career, however I think this is something that I would prefer to pursue as a career change further into my professional life after working in other disciplines whether it be banking, corporate finance, etc.

I am at a point where my resume shows a few completed WM internships however I feel as though this won't be enough to give me a super-competitive edge against other candidates for other types of jobs given that I go to a non-target that is however very respected in my region.

I don't really post a ton on here so just hoping that wasn't confusing. Thanks!
