Would a poor interview performance kill future chances at the same firm?
Hi everyone,
I am considering applying to GS GIR at a really busy period in my current job. I may not even have time to prepare if GS calls me up for an interview. But such vacancies don't open up often, and I want to give it a shot if there's no downside.
My question is - if I do badly at the interview this time, would the bad impression affect my chances with the same GS GIR team in the future? (say if I apply again next year). Should I avoid applying, until I'm confident of not messing up the interview too badly?
Hi clickb8, no, I never sleep and so I can respond to any lonely threads (like this one) at all hours of the night. Impressive, I know ;-)
Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
Same firm no. Same division probably not. Same group yes. Generally I would remember if I had interviewed someone before and what they said and why I didn’t move them on.
