Would this be an acceptable resume job title change?
Let's say that my job title is "Capital Markets Analyst," but at every other bank I'd be an "Investment Banking Analyst" within the capital markets division, and that my job responsibilities are identical to those of other banks with the IB analyst title.
Would it be seen as lying to put something like Investment Banking Analyst (Capital Markets) on my resume? I'm worried because my firm doesn't see me as within IBD even though other banks would.
I'm not actually in Capital Markets, my division's too specific to share here.
