Hey man, one of the Sr. partners at York and I went to the same school UG and, last we spoke, he mentioned that they were in the process of unwinding their Credit Opps fund. Consequently, my understanding is, they are not doing much in the way of adding to headcount these days. My recommendation would be, if possible, maybe target other firms at this juncture.

Hope this helps

yep thanks man. I know their credit opps fund was liquidating which is crazy given it was only down 8% and has netted around 12% on average net of fees since 2001. it’s a real shame. I figured they weren’t looking to add headcount. oddly enough I’ve actually had conversations with some York Europe guys and they may still be hiring in a couple months if no one from the US wants to come over. from LinkedIn it looks like a couple of the credit analysts have left after bonuses this year - probs due to the Credit Opps fund shutting down
