Well I am hungry for some bananas... So here I am.

I am a sophomore concentrating in Applied Mathematics-Economics. I am applying for Sales and Trading. Had first round interview from JP and ML, and received a super day invitation just now from ML.

What level of math do you do up to as an applied mathematics major? Can you explain how math helps your analysis skills? I'm a finance major interested in making myself more marketable though I'm interested in consulting

I am a sophomore and I am definitely not in a place to give suggestion. I have taken matlab, linear algebra, ODE, statistics, and will take some higher level math class next semester. Maths does help my analysis I think, but I don't know if it really helps actual trading.
