2 of the 21 US Gold Medalists this year were in high finance
This just goes to show how strongly correlated intelligence/work ethic, genetics/pedigree (WASP intergenerational wealth at T10s) and being in high finance (result of intelligence, work ethic, genetics and pedigree) are. High finance people represented ~10% of US gold medalists this year while being a much smaller percentage of the US population (likely 0.01% if that).
