$250 Bday Gift for 3-month GF
Just started my SA role in NYC and I’ll be pocketing a decent amount of money, she’s here too. Recently started dating after knowing each other for 6 months. I don’t have a sister and I’ve never had a gf, so I don’t know where to buy gifts for girls. Any suggestions on boutiques in NYC where I can get something nice for a decent price? (I’m thinking jewelry)

250 way to high for 3 month IMO. $30 base price increasing $10/ per month is my rule up to the 11 month mark. Once you get to 1yr that’s kinda just when you feel it out/ go more expensive.

I bought my 2month gf $300 of gifts (very thoughtful things) and $250 dinner and she just dumped my ass. She makes no money so I wanted to treat her. Kinda wish I hadn’t now lmao but I guess if I had ended up marrying her I would have felt differently.

If you're going to buy her jewelry, make sure you're certain it's her style. Don't want to go spend a few hundred on something she won't like or wear.

A 250$ budget is a versatile budget depending on your gf expectations. You can either keep it simple (Dinner, Date) or do monetary gifts e.g.
- Designer perfume
-Boquet of Roses
-Jewelry (This is a hard one this it seems like you've only known her for 3 months, is she a gold or silver person? Pandora is a good start but make sure you also know her size and style)/.
Honestly though, if she really likes you. Anything that is fun/eventful and thoughtful will create a memorable memory for her.

People tend to remember experiences more than gifts. Im similar age and I have been with my gf for 2 years now. If you are in NYC I highly suggest bringing her to Bathhouse in Williamsburg during non peak hours ($50 each) and then from there get a nice brunch or dinner depending on the time of day you chose. The Spa at bathhouse is super nice and intimate with a partner my girlfriend absolutely loves going especially with great food after! Also if you want a slightly more $$$ day go to QC spa on governor’s island. You will take a ferry from FIDI and the views of the city from the SPA there are incredible. Also worst case scenario your relationship doesn’t last long you had a cool experience and your money wasn’t just pissed away.
