Addiction

I am addicted to SHO-time's Billions. I binge watch seasons 1-3 EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Season 4's Mason Capital battle and beyond is cringe. I added an extra screen to my desk just have Billions playing in the background on mute as I sometimes glance at it to recite every script verbatim. I can't shake witnessing the competitive nature of two people who eat-shit-sleep-live to crush each other. After a meeting yesterday, me and superior spoke briefly about his son's little league being canceled and shared his distaste for a particular team in the league. 'Yeah, fuck those little cheating fuckers' I said in my head as I nodded in agreement. Then I did something unconsciously stupid and quoted Chuck's encouraging words to Connerty and Sacker regarding Axelrod's demise, "You don't try to kill a fresh bull, you wait until he's been struck a few times." With the same level of intensity. Superior paused, as if he noticed I tried to create a rap song using the world's most famous lyrics. After a couple minutes of more chit-chatting, he excused himself. I need to fucking relax, this addiction is dripping into my work space. Boycotting Billions for a few weeks. Succession needs to hurry up and come back.

Overhyped show with cringe, over the top writing. Only WSO to be all over it like it's the second coming of The Wire.

everybody says the wire is the best show ever and nobody will go back and watch it
