Just go on Tinder and grab a bite to eat with people.

Not sure why you label it as a degenerate app - this could be exactly what she is looking for to meet people.

I’ve noticed you didn’t recommend anything.

Oh look, it’s the dude that’s everywhere! Dating apps suck. I’d rather meet someone in the real world if you know what I meet. Don’t really have the patience to swipe right or left. That thing ain’t for me chief

Well you have limited options if you can’t go to the bar scene in NYC

definitely at Sapphire

You’re telling an 18yr old chick to go to a 21+ strip club...

Think I commented on your last one. Ahh I feel the same way about dating apps.

I would sometimes go bar hopping alone on like Thursdays when I did not have class the next day even though it can be pretty sparse on the weekdays. On days like Wednesday/Thursday you can definitely find people but it might require going to a few places before you find a spot thats not dead. East Village(Gem Saloon) or Lower east side(hair of the dog/one and one/pianos/walk around and see if other places are dead) have a high concentration of bars so those are good bets. Just start at a bar and walk around don't be afraid to ask the bartender what spots might be good. Play beerpong with random people at a bar or lotta jazz clubs have pool and table games. Theres a table tennis place called spin 23 they have a bar and table tennis obviously.

More bar suggestions for an 18yr old.... granted though as the OP gave you almost zero context.

I'll say it again. Email some bankers and set up some networking calls.

Yeah this is good advice - setup for an internship next year.
