Any of you use an Eight Sleep?

Friend recently got one and said it was life changing. But it's $3k for basically a pad on top of your mattress that has tubes for water that changes temperature. Seems a bit high.

Honestly was considering it though because of how ineffective my AC is for the recent hot temperatures. Wondering whether anyone else on WSO has one (or any of the competitors)?

Based on previous WSO threads, there isn't a direct mention of Eight Sleep or its competitors. However, discussions around dealing with extreme temperatures, especially during summer, have been highlighted. For instance, one user shared their struggles with heat and humidity, mentioning how they resorted to sleeping in gyms with AC due to ineffective cooling systems. This suggests that finding effective solutions for temperature regulation is a common concern.

If you're considering Eight Sleep, it might be worth weighing the cost against alternative solutions like improving your AC efficiency or exploring other cooling products. While $3k is steep, if it significantly improves your sleep quality and comfort, it could be a worthwhile investment. You might also want to check out other forums or reviews for more user experiences with Eight Sleep or similar products.
