Anyone frustrated with their life

I feel like I'm trapped in a cage I put myself in. I hate sitting at my fucking desk all day long, I hate the expectations that people have for me. Even stuff that I enjoy like working out have become repetitive and monotonous.

i’m a first year and i already feel u… everyday i miss just being a kid why did i want to grow up so fast :(

Switch it up. Ditch the workout routine for a bit, go to a kickboxing or yoga class or something. Go hiking up a mountain. Take some PTO and go to Hawaii or Japan.

Every successful person has something which lets them escape the boring cage of an office at least once a week.

Controversial

Woe is me.

I'm a first gen immigrant. Parents didn't even know I applied to college, let alone ever advise me on anything career-wise. To this day, they still have no idea what I actually do. Went through simple public school systems all the way through HS and then served in the military for citizenship and got my ticket to college funded.

"I went to non targets because my of my parents." What? Ah, guess I missed the memo that if I didn't grow up rich with the "right" parents I was supposed to attend non-targets only. Where should I return my target school degrees?

Your parents never taught you finance so it messed up your entire life? Super tough bro. Almost like you had every opportunity to figure it out along the way yourself as a grown ass adult.

Someone made a thread about having a hard time at work, which is perfectly valid and common in this line of work. And you decided to try to make it all about you with your pity party. Man am I glad you never got accepted to any target schools. I might have had to work with you
