So as many of you know, Google is highlighting the recent creation Google Glasses today and I have to say I am impressed. While there are obvious roadblocks to the design (e.g. the current state of battery technology), this product truly has the potential to be disruptive. When I first saw the demonstration a year ago and placed my order through a Google developer friend, I was excited. Now I am thrilled. There is a great deal of potential in this product and can change the way we live life (anyone thinking video game style achievements for real life?). So are you on board with this idea ? Would you buy Google Glasses and would it encourage you to be more adventurous with your life ? Our would you use to just watch porn 24/7 ?

Can these be made to prescription? I wear contacts, but what are people who need prescription glasses going to do?
Hopefully they make a tinted "flip-down" version that you can connect to your prescription glasses

I do agree with this as a sign of desperation and they will spin it as a brand new product that noone has ever thought of even though the concept is put there with the Pebble. I also read that Samsung will have a smartwatch as well, interesting to see who can bring it to the market first.
Maybe the next step will be to fit all of that in a contact lens? Serious nanotechnology...

That's my skepticism with voice-activated products. It's also why I'm convinced that Siri will never be a game changer.
Yeah, I have the iPhone 4S and Siri is utter garbage. It's about 20 years away from being halfway decent.
