Are NYC girls entitled and egotistical?

Is is too difficult to date in NYC in your 20's? Is it primarily just a bunch of entitled and egotistical girls that are independent and have a "check list" of things that she wants her s/o to have? (6,5 , trustfund, blue eyes?)

Yes genrally true in your 20s. The 9s and 10s get the top 1% of men in their 20s so your best bet is waiting until you're 30+ when the 7s and 8s start lowering their expectations.

Are girls supposed to not be "independent" and have preferences in a partner?

If some girl was cool as hell but was 250 pounds, would you have a problem with dating her?

People are allowed to look for specific things when dating...

A large % young women these days are, not unique to NYC.

in NYC, the girls are more likely to be highly educated, wealthy and may have a preference in religion.  You have to check off more boxes for them to want to date you.  Aside from looks, you need to be able to meet their standards for at least two of the three criteria

Its hilarious how stuck up and entitled some people are. It's like you're getting out of the subway and some person is standing 1 inch in front of the opening doors and proceed to throw a fit as people are exiting out

All depends on who you are and your game.

You can be a fat balding dude in the south and date a literal knockout for example

Looks are irrelevant once you achieve a certain NW. It may be rough in NYC for a 20s guy that’s not attractive and not yet wealthy, but if you’re 30s and wealthy dating in NYC is not difficult.

If you are wealthy, you can fix ugly with plastic surgery, etc.

You definitely run into annoying personalities but usually those people aren't the ones people want to be dating anyways

Most girls are like that in general, but sounds like you're talking about girls who moved to NYC. Likely comes from money. Parents spoiled her and she expects the same from a young guy who is still building his career.

If you find a girl who was born and raised in NYC, parents are likely immigrants, and they studied at a CUNY/SUNY, then they tend to have good heads on their shoulders. IYKYK

There are a lot of immigrants in NYC but most of them probably do not live in the city.   I highly doubt girls who were raised in NYC have immigrant parents.  Immigrants are usually kind of frugal and are not likely to be spending 5-10k per month in rent.  The Cuny/Suny part is correct and that is because tuition is a lot lower than for a  private school.  Demand for CUNY has increased substantially because private schools like NYU are outrageously expensive
