In my mind I know I deserve going to heaven, and if I don’t then it’s gods fault for not letting me in and I’ll hold it against him forever while my ass gets roasted on a stake in hell.

"famejranc" if you die today? Let's think about this hypothetically and not focus on whether each of these places exists. Discus.

I have no idea how to define it then. I generally help people when I have the chance and "do the right thing" because I was raised correctly, but I'm also greedy, grouchy, hedonistic, don't go to church, and don't believe in god. If good works is enough, I'm in. If belief and acting on that belief is the barometer, I'm fucked.

Wait, good works, but don’t believe God even exists?? My mind just did a split and two backflips.

And everyone knows God exists, people are just in denial. The whole image of God is a known made up tale because people want something familiar to look at. But even when you watch Star Wars, The Force is basically like an omnipotent being.

I'm no longer religious, but one thing I think is worth taking away is, "We all fall short." Another way to phrase the question is, who do you think is fully worthy, both in actions and beliefs, to get into Heaven? If I were God and that standard was my barometer... I dunno, Heaven would be a tough place to get into. There would be like 5 people there - Fred Rogers, John Wooden, Shirley Horn? If you dig deep enough into people's thoughts and actions, there are things we would never like to be replayed in front of ourselves. Thus the burden is to be conscious in the present and "act as if."

Be excellent to each other, and party on, dudes.

I heard jehovah’s witnesses say only 144,000 slots in heaven are available. Given the level of competition vs the number of spots available, does anyone have any case studies?

I’m in a difficult spot since my denomination used to be a target denominations (think Episcopalian, Presbyterian) but have no idea where I stand since the post modern sjw’s took the reins.

Btw, any thoughts on where semi-targets stand (Methodists, affluent Baptistsin markets such as Atlanta, Charlotte, dallas)?

Do high earning evangelicals who attend contemporary services fall in the semi-target or non-target bucket?
