Based on the most helpful WSO content, if you're looking for a standout film, Being There is highly praised for its spirit and sentiment. It encapsulates the idea of discovering possibilities empirically and is treasured for its unique perspective.
If you're into finance or corporate strategy themes, you might also explore curated lists like those on watch.finance, which categorize movies by profession and themes like "billionaire" or "scandal." This could help you find hidden gems or underrated classics in the genre.

ferris bueller’s day off
The Godfather I and II are peak. For a lesser known movie, I highly recommend A Brighter Summer Day if you're fine with watching a foreign movie with subtitles.
Read Howard Marks "Further Thoughts on Sea Change" memo. We're in a rising interest rate environment now, and AI, demographic shifts, and geopolitical instability going forward are going to make movies much less attractive to be produced by many.
Top 4 for me right now are:
Ida (2014)
In The Mood For Love (2000)
Michael Clayton (2007)
The Conversation (1974)
Any Christopher Nolan production
Some of my all-time favorites, no particular order:
12 Angry Men
Casablanca
American Beauty
Inglorious Basterds
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)
No Country for Old Men (fun fact this won Best Picture with no soundtrack)
Oldboy (2003)
Dr. Strangelove
Pulp Fiction
also would lob Casino Royale in the mix because it’s fucking great too. I’m a sucker for the Daniel Craig bond movies tho
Most unique torture/interrogation scene that I’ve seen in a movie.
Would rank Casino Royale as #1 of the Daniel Craig series. It’s in my top 10 favorite movies too.
Life is Beautiful (1997)
The Downfall
Stalker by Tarkovsky
Airplane, Heat, Rush Hour 2, Tropic Thunder, Gladiator, Top Gun are among my favorites
Honorable mention: MacGruber, Bad Boys 2, Top Gun Maverick, There Will Be Blood, Casino Royale, Skyfall
