Best Grill 2025?

Moving out of the city and into our first house and trying to figure out what our best option is for outdoor cooking. BBQ? Blackstone? Other? We like to cook a variety of foods and have been drawn to the Blackstone as it seems having a flattop would allow for more versatile cooking, but after checking a few Reddit reviews I've been turned off by comments of cheap parts, rust battles, uneven leveling and heating, etc. I'm ok spending the time to maintain a good unit, but also ok spending up for something quality that will last. Any recommendations?

I'm a big fan of weber grills - I've had two of them, and they've lasted/stood up to a lot of abuse over the years. You can get a flat top, etc. as an add on if you really want to do so.

For smoking - Traeger and the 'egg' are the ones I'd look at. Lots of great reviews from friends/family who have them.

I want to second this, Traeger is great. I have used a pellet smoker and it unbeatable. Since smoking meats can take a long time, charcoal also works the best imo of flavor second to smoking. But for all around, I think you can’t go wrong with a blackstone; reason for this is because of how versatile it can be for cooking. When I had a Blackstone back in uni (was roommates) it did rust so I’d make sure you always put oil on it, and I was able to clean it off. I think if you get a cover for it and take care of it, it should be fine.
