Best Mosques in Midtown?
Niche topic, but wondering where people usually go for jummah prayer in midtown/or if they trek farther downtown if they have the time. can always pray at the office but for jummah I do like feeling a sense of community when I have the time.
There is one on 55th st b/w lex and 3rd ave.
Uthman Bin Affan Mosque
For Jummah prayer in Midtown NYC, here are some recommendations based on previous WSO threads and insights:
Islamic Society of Mid Manhattan (ISMM): Located at 55th Street and Lexington Avenue, this mosque is a popular choice for professionals in Midtown. It’s convenient, well-organized, and offers a sense of community.
Masjid Manhattan: While slightly farther downtown, it’s a well-known mosque that many professionals visit if they have the time. It’s located near the Financial District, so it might be a trek depending on your schedule.
Masjid Ar-Rahman: Situated on 29th Street, this mosque is another option for those in Midtown. It’s smaller but still provides a welcoming environment for Jummah prayers.
If you’re tight on time, praying at the office is always an option, but these mosques are great for connecting with the community when your schedule allows.

He’s Turkish lol. He’s probably just not religious like almost all other educated/successful Turks. Low chance he’s Christian as-well.
