Best Sports Books to Read

What are some of the best sports novels you have read? Autobiography, biography. etc. I am a big reader and sports fan, so I want to read more novels like this. I just said The Jordan Rules and thought it was pretty solid.

Thanks in advance.

Baseball has been and always will be my main sport, so for comedy, the Hall of Shame series is a must read, but I would say my favorite sports book ever is Playing With The Enemy. Biography about a catcher back in the 1940s and his journey overseas, and then what happens when he returns home. Absolute 10/10, one of the most interesting biographies I've ever read.

This isn't an autobiography or biography, but I cannot recommend (Dream Team: How Michael, Magic, Larry, Charles, and the Greatest Team of All Time Conquered the World and Changed the Game of Basketball Forever) enough, as it is a very good book filled with lockerroom talks and private chats with the players. I read it dozens of times, it is an amazing read!

Money Ball is great. I also really liked Ball Four by Jim Bouton. Behind the scenes stuff from when he played for the Yankees and others. Plus he was a knuckleballer so he's kinda weird and funny.

Underworld - Don DeLillo

Never Let Me Go - Kazuo Ishiguro

Infinite Jest - David Foster Wallace
