They say that chess grandmasters burn a ton of calories during world class level tournaments. Is a really busy stretch in m&a the same thing? You don't get a lot of steps in but your mind is in overdrive.
I often come home exhausted, extra hungry, etc on deal sprints. Wonder if it's burning some extra cals naturally?

You for sure do - after a 2-3 week deal sprint, the right word to describe me is gaunt.. must be partially due to the calories burned thinking for 18 hours a day.. I'm certainly not exercising during this time. Also, I tend to skip some meals during sprints because I am too busy cranking.
