I’ve got a buddy who will be getting married sometime late in my internship and they asked if I could be in their wedding party. Do you think there is any hope or it would just come across as uncommitted? Should I ask now or closer to when the internship starts? Interning in CB (within CIB) during the summer 2026. Is it one Friday, or is it multiple weekdays?
If it’s one day adjacent to a weekend, tell them ASAP that it’s a family event, you should be fine.
If it’s multiple weekdays, that’s a different story. You’re probably going to have to choose between the wedding and risking a return offer.
The wedding is on a Saturday so I would miss Friday-Sunday.
