Chicago Hotel Recommendation

Gents and the deranged of the off-topic forum, looking for some suggestions for a solid hotel in Chicago. Will be visiting over summer for a concert. Not very familiar with the city so open to suggestions.

Where's the concert at? In general, you want to be near public transportation but even that is dependent on where the venue is located. I'd avoid the loop regardless.

I'm partial to the Palmer House Hilton for a relatively affordable but upscale option. The rooms are somewhat plain and a little on the dated side, but it's a gorgeous classic hotel with a perfectly central location near multiple CTA stops, the Metra if you need it, across the street from the Art Institute of Chicago and Grant Park, etc. Pretty easy access to most of the city
