Not to hijack but how is Alinea for a big date night?

Stick around River North if you’re into the club scene. Some of my favorite places are: Bounce, Joy District, and Electric Hotel.

Definitely River North area. Old Town is great too for the early 20s crowd. A few good spots in West Loop as well.

How is Lake Michigan for water sports? A friend of mine has a "Sea Breacher" which he piloted well into the Lake. Just wondering as I've heard it can be somewhat unsafe compared to the other Great Lakes

Ukrainian village has tons of restaurants that are open outdoor to go sit and drink outside with a crowd going but nothing rowdy. However, ideally better to go here when it gets warm.

For a chill yet upscale night out: Signature Room on 95th (view is fantastic), London House, Terrace 16, Three Dots and a Dash.

For a nice brunch: 3 Arts Cafe (fancy option), Wildberries (cozy casual option), Le Colonial for French inspired Vietnamese (in the middle option).

Niche options: Andy's Jazz Club for live jazz performances, Omakase Yume/Sushi San/Nobu/Roka Akor/Momotaro for sushi, Fogo de Chao (Brazilian)/Daebak (Korean)/Gyu Kaku (Japananese) for BBQ, Aba for Mediterranean.
