COVID Pass/Fail Grading Option
Hey all,
Non target finance major in the midwest... Currently I had a 4.0, ended up with an A- in an upper level econ class. Is it worth salvaging the 4.0 for recruiting by taking the pass grading option, or not worth the risk for how it will appear on a transcript for graduate school?
I don’t think anyone will care honestly; if you want to keep your 4.0, then go for it. If you think you might lose a 4.0 again in the future, then just let it go. I think people with a 4.0 are the only people who really notice the difference between 3.97 and 4.0, to be honest.
I’ve never applied for an MBA but I think they would be more concerned about other things in your background than one class from undergrad.
Also it is easy to explain away the P/F potentially. Maybe the professor was awful and was terrible at online class, who knows.
doubt there will be much care with this semesters grades given the covid situation, may get asked about it but you can prob lie/talk your way out easily out of it
