I think that COVID has substantially increased the POTUS's chances of reelection. He is literally on television for 90 minutes per day. It is 90 minutes of free advertising on all the major stations. The issues related to COVID are going to go on for a while and therefore he will not need to do many rallies.
Interesting comment. Some of my friends have actively blamed the president and govt so I thought his popularity would go down as a result of this pandemic.
