DC is prepping like no other right now

With the recent announcement today, D.C. is prepping heavy. Not quite the scale of inauguration levels, but serious command ops for all types of potential shit that may happen. It's a shame since a new bar opened up down in Navy Yard that some coworkers and I wanted to hit post-work. We'll see if that area survives (since the Nats are stepping up to disappoint everyone once again at 8p), but who knows.

Intentionally took a detour down Route 1 to see if there was any activity over by Cap Lawn, and was greeted by a small gathering of protestors - am sure that will exponentially grow 100x over come 9p. Drove some more - lots of local businesses boarding up windows, all of Penn Qtr & a lot of H-Street. Secret service seemed upped, MPDC out at every intersection, and tac units started materializing. Keep in mind, this was at around 1:30p and a lot of the organized or formal-ish events are slated to begin this evening. Suspect we'll see a massive uptick in the next couple of hours as people get off work.

They're not fucking around this time. No idea what will happen tonight. To all my folks in the DMV - stay safe, keep your head up. I don't give a fuck about your opinion on abortion or not, but be cautious and careful. I echo this comment to other folks in major metro areas as well. Rioting and looting protests help no one whatsoever, and you don't want to be caught in the middle of that.

Figured I'd share. To my friends in other cities - any activity for you all?

Lol what a third world shithole we live in. You never see this shit happening in China, Japan, Switzerland, Singapore, etc. How did the liberals normalize "mass up in front of the country's seat of power, threaten violence and commit degeneate actions" whenever a legislation people don't approve of is passed?

Can't agree more about wanting people to not go crazy, regardless of opinion. Already seeing it all over LinkedIn and Facebook. Just hope I don't see it in the streets around here. People just seem like they want a reason to be angry lately, and that's one of the last things we need.

The poster formerly known as theAudiophile. Just turned up to 11, like the stereo.

Riots will happen - liberals will use the decision as an excuse to go loot Best Buy and get a new tv

(((liberals))) and 🦍🏀🍗🍉liberals🦍🏀🍗🍉.

Yeah no - don’t associate my comments with your racist trolling

Dems act like republicans are the ones being violent, but Dems in fact feel they have a right to be violent whenever it suits them

This is why the 2nd amendment should always exist, you have to be able to defend to yourself against mentally ill liberals bent on spreading hate

If you are a man with balls between your legs you best start speaking up and speaking out in public about the absolute corruption and perversion of the Democratic Party, as you all do here myself included. I'm in NYC and any chance I can get for a good level headed debate or conversation in person with somebody I take it on and speak the truth. We need to start having these types of open, truthful, but respectful, conversations in public with our neighbors and those around us. Especially in the big cities. And that goes for corrupt republican leadership as well such as Mitch McConnell with his family ties to China. Speak up

This sounds like DC. And when I lived in the DC area, some girls I met were very vocal about politics and it was a big turnoff to me. I’m glad NYC is not like that. In NYC people talk business.

I was traveling on the path recently and a group of kids (intern age) were talking about electric vehicles and the oil and gas industry, one kid proclaimed to be a trader (probably intern or supporting the desk from what I gathered) and I discussed how the electrical power grid works and how the energy production is actually split between renewables and oil or oil by products.I further questioned what the inflow and outflow of that energy transfer was and how I believe just looking at grid generally that I believe the math does not hold up for the propaganda coming from the executive branch and cabinet that electric vehicles are the solution.I was overheard by a nice minority girl mid twenties traveling to Brooklyn and she was interested and curious about the discussion. We spoke for a few minutes as we traveled to our next platform. We also touched on racism and she shared with me how she feels as a black young women that she feels tension between the white and black community in New York. I touched on that as well and my stance was that it has been fueled by the media and that majority of Americans regardless of race are not very racist at all.I talk to bodega guys and people at bars, I'm usually 9/10 the person who brings up politics or policy but it can be interesting should people actually want to understand things from an economic level. I do it within a level of emotional understanding for the audience I am communication with. I’m not the guy ranting at the bar by any means lol

The left has the audacity to act like the right is a broad-based threat that endangers the country en masse. Meanwhile, they're the only group that will openly discuss targeting entire municipalities with violence because of their religion with violence over a SCOTUS ruling. And to anyone saying it's not realistic and they wouldn't actually do it, just remember the 20-30+ people dead in addition to $2b+ in damages from summer 2020 riots and recall they did that over a drug addict who assaulted pregnant women in his spare time OD'ing on camera while being arrested. They've literally made a routine out of protesting outside of judges homes, active courts, and intimidating juries - none of which is protected by the 1st amendment. The former 2 are particularly heinous because the courts are not supposed to be subject to public opinion. If they are then there is no justice. And yet here we are, waiting for yet another weekend of mostly peaceful building burnings and possibly a related homicide or two. And the best part? These geniuses are mostly rioting IN BLUE CITIES THAT AGREE WITH THEM.

Dude what in the actual fuck? ^ Wow. Now, just online forum talk. However, this is how they operate though they gather in Reddit and throughout different social blogs including Facebook groups, to buzz their hive with this shit. Crazy. Yo fuck these people straight up. Yeah, I broke professional stature on that one. These are not peaceful people and we need to start taking them by their word and their behavior thus far. America used to spy from within to stop these revolutionary communistic actors and their efforts to overthrow the entire judicial and free market principles, laws, that define the United States. The leaders of the left that encourage or fail to disavow when asked such as Pelosi as of recently by a member of the press core with fire bomb attacks on several pro life centers and churches throughout the country. She was essentially asked by the female reporter (not sure which station or outlet she represents) to disavow rhe violence leading up to this decision and Pelosi purposefully re-routed her response ignoring the question entirely.

These leaders and the DOJ letting these revolutionary type groups proceed is insanity in itself. And the bail programs and the non profits and celebrities that set up funds to bail out the last rioters from that whole summer of 2020.

Time to wake up guys. You always wanted to be a leader right?

Ah yes, the left alone is to blame when just a year ago, you guys were storming into the capitol, have been killing doctors carrying out abortions, and attacking women going to get abortions. President Trump didn't disavow any of it.

Relevant Information:

"In the summer of 1918, Moscow sent armed detachments to the villages and ordered them to seize grain. Peasants who resisted the seizures were labeled kulaks. According to Richard Pipes, "the Communists declared war on the rural population for two purposes: to forcibly extract food for growing industry (so-called First five-year plan) in cities and the Red Army and insinuate their authority into the countryside, which remained largely unaffected by the Bolshevik coup."3 A large-scale revolt ensued, and it was during this period in August 1918 that Vladimir Lenin sent a directive known as Lenin's Hanging Order: "Hang (hang without fail, so the people see) no fewer than one hundred known kulaks, rich men, bloodsuckers. ... Do it in such a way that for hundreds of versts [kilometers] around the people will see, tremble, know, shout: they are strangling and will strangle to death the bloodsucker kulaks."[15]"

"just remember the 20-30+ people dead"

Uh.. I actually looked at the breakdown of deaths (according to most sources I've seen, there were 19 deaths) and most of them don't even seem to be protest-related.

Most seem to either be accidental deaths like people being run over or deaths that had nothing to do with the protest (a murder happening near where a protest is occurring doesn't mean the murder was protest-related). In actual fact, it looks like only 4-5 were actually happening during the protests and were homicides.

The former 2 are particularly heinous because the courts are not supposed to be subject to public opinion. If they are then there is no justice

This makes no sense. The courts are subject to public opinion any time they're appointed based on politics. As all appointees have been political appointees, any decision made by the court is political. We elect presidents based on public opinion who then go onto appoint justices so I fail to see how you could argue that the courts are not subject to public opinion.

And yet here we are, waiting for yet another weekend of mostly peaceful building burnings and possibly a related homicide or two.

I'm still waiting ...

Honestly I don’t give a fuck about this shit. No matter what side you’re on, can we just call people out publicly for saying outrageous shit?

“OMG! X happened, time to (riot, kill people, loot, etc.)” - don’t tell these people their political opinions are wrong or ‘radical’, remind them that these actions they condone are batshit crazy.

We should start doxxing people like the Reddit poster above. This political atmosphere has made people insane.
