Do you consume protein powder, and if so, what’re your favorite brands?

I’ve long been a consumer of the Optimum Nutrition Whey Isolate tubs from Costco. Best % of protein per kcal.

I recently purchased the Fairlife Nutrition Plan bottles in Chocolate and they’re amazing. 30g protein per 150kcal and they taste much better than the ON Whey Isolate. Much more expensive, but I’m not poor.

The Fairlife CorePower Elite in Vanilla is delicious. 42g protein per 230kcal. It’s funny how the “nutrition plan” has a higher concentration of protein. Never had their regular protein shake which is 26g protein per 170kcal, which is by far the lowest concentration of the 3 Fairlife shakes.

Had used both strawberry and mocha MyProtein in college and it was ok, but I wouldn’t buy it again.

Have heard great things about Ghost brand, but the ratio isn’t as high as others, and it’s much more expensive. I recently purchased Jocko’s molk, and although I like the flavors (mint chip, banana cream, vanilla), they’re a bit chalky and not nearly worth the price IMO. I don’t feel bad bc I’m supporting someone who has helped me become who I am today, but I can’t recommend the products. Not to say they’re bad, but I think there’s better value out there. I will say that the mint chocolate chip is pretty good, and if you added some mint extract to make it more minty, it would be a banger.

Now that money isn’t a huge concern for me, I find myself eating a lot of meat to get my protein. I think eating natural has its benefits, but I still eat Costco protein bars and protein powder as it’s easy to fit into a diet plan. Biggest thing I work on avoiding is added sugar. Still will eat a cookie now and then but I try and limit myself.

Lol I love how u got two monkey shit for the vegan even though you’re most likely the most in shape person on this website. You and the devgru guy that posted a couple times are 99% chance top 2 physically fit

MyProtein unflavored. sometimes I buy a smaller bag of flavored and i dilute with unflavored.  I like doughnut, strawberry, or french toast 1:1 or 1:1 of unflavored. I recommend you try the doughnut and french toast diluted, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Is it the cheapest? No, but I’m a huge fan of Redcon MRE Lite. Flavor is fantastic and it’s a blend of different animal proteins rather than whey which is much easier on digestion and skin

Been looking at lots of protein powders and honestly don't see anything when mixed with anything but water that rivals the Fairlife protein ratio. Sams Club has them for $1.58 per bottle which is much cheaper than anything else on the market

I've been using it for 6 years. Never said it sucked - learn to read fucking intern. And that protein window is bullshit.

Isopure Whey Protein Isolate Unflavored.

Literally just 2 ingredients: Whey Protein Isolate and Lecithin (emulsifier).

Keep your body happy by excluding “natural” and artificial flavorings or colorants.
