Yeah accounting sucks

PowerPoint decks. I find it boring to put those together and have to continually turn comments requesting a 1pt increase in font size, 1/2 inch increase in margins, slightly different image size, etc. Even with Excel a lot of time is spent on formatting. Sometimes I wish I studied graphic design instead of business/finance. It would have helped me a lot more on the job than learning about academic theories from the 50s-70s that no one cares about anymore (Miller & Modigliani, EMH, etc.)

I literally was thinking about that myself. I legitimately think I should've taken some graphic design courses since I think it would have made PowerPoint editing seem less like a chore. My current company has a graphic design department that deals with this type of stuff so investors don't and they make far sicker decks than any analyst I've ever met in banking.

And if anyone thinks that making repeated PowerPoint edits is fun, either you're a masochist or a glutton for punishment.
