Does the size matter? How big is too big?!
Hey Monkeys,
As we know "the size does not matter", might not always be true. What screen size do you recommend for an ultimate Work From Home set-up?
I was thinking about single, curved 27'' or 32'' screen. Do you have experiences with curved screens? How big is "too big"?
Hoping for valuable insights and good laugh in the comments.
Stay safe!
Edit: When you read the topic title you expected something else? You cheeky Monkey!

Wrap it before you tap it! As they say.
Hedge funds are off the scale
If that was drawn to scale then I'm at Lev Fin/ DCM.
Sounds like something someone in audit would say.
PWM is accurate
Magnums for high-pressure salesman at boiler rooms?
is two 27 inch screens too much? afraid of constantly swinging my neck all the way around. may go for two 24 inch screens. I think one 32 inch curved is awesome.
running 2 LG 24mk600m, 75hz on monitor arms - 3 sides bezel-less and they are great for work and decent for gaming as well
I'm thinking of stacking two 34", one on top of the other. Thoughts?
i have a 32 and a 27. it's a fucking dream
I have a 34” ultra wide and love it. I have an app that automatically splits the screen.
that sounds dope. what’s the name of the app?
This is what I have. It’s a controller than you download from LG.

Are there any particular producers & models that you recommend?
This is what I have.

What do you think about these bad boys?

Those are both sweet. I like the curve
What is the app that you use to split screen. I have a PC rn and a 34 wide screen as well
OP why not two screens for optimal performance ? Anyways always go for the bigger screen as it makes a big difference when you need it for excel or powerpoint.
Bloomberg doesn't take that well to a single 4k environment as well as quad 1080p screens right now. Consider multiple monitors if possible if that's an app. A general idea is to just keep adding things until you begin to lose them in your peripheral vision. (That's normally 6)
LG 27gl850! 27 inch 1440p 144hz. Thank me later, if you can get your hands on it...
Girth is obviously the most important factor, so OP your premise is wrong.
That is why I rock huge retro 90s monitors
we have a curved 34 at work. Its perfect. If you are going to invest that much make sure it is mounted and you can swivel/rotate/tilt to your hearts desire.
Could do me a huge favor and let me know what is the resolution of that screen once you have access to it?

Its this one
Depends on how big your desk is imo. Also on what you do. My good buddy is a trader and has like 6 screens but I'd get lost if I had that many.
At the office, I have a huge desk and tons of space so (2) 27" monitors does the trick. At home, 48"; desk with (1) 27" monitor and my laptop on a stand next to it. I can add my portable monitor on the other side if I really need it but don't do that frequently.
Curved monitors are cool but the bank wont purchase those for us yet so a basic adjustable height / flip HP 27" is what I got. Works perfectly for $100
I have a 47inch flat screen as my monitor in the home office - would recommend. It’s on a large teak table from Bermuda with Bose bookshelf speakers to jam out on the cycling trainer in that room. The large screen is also great for multitabling in poker.
yummy
