1) Not really - if CEOs are chatty they are often telling you something useful. Or, it's at least entertaining (see: WYNN's old calls) 2) Transcripts are same-day (or real time on CapIQ for a lot of companies) 3) I've rarely, if ever, have had a 90 min earnings call of any sort...

I prefer the bloomberg summary transcript as its saves me time and its a quick read. And if you want a 90 min senseless earnings calls, tune in to Cisco. They manage to turn a 15 min quarter summary to 45 mins. Then usual 45 min QnA.
