Ik not a lot of ppl care about audit here lol but just wanted to start a thread about this, basically EY has handed out ~22-30% raises to a pretty huge amount of its US workforce today, which is super uncommon outside of actual promotions (I.e associate to senior, senior to manager, etc). I caught a 30% raise from A1 to A2 today in HCOL and it feels pretty good ngl but I’m not letting it become a golden handcuffs situation. I do wonder if it’s gonna change anything about incoming CPAs and stuff tho. Or if other big 4 will follow

Idk but I went from 73k to 94k so you might expect something like 80k for a first year associate. Also why are u using banking ranks lol

Yeah I mean in my opinion for a relatively fresh grad (1.5 yrs out of undergrad) it’s pretty nice pay for a young single person outside of NYC who isn’t working IB hours, closer to 45 hrs on avg. you can keep prestige whoring tho buddy.
