Female MD teasing me

I am fresh SA at BB. The work and people are great and I love the job, there is one female MD I work under who is problematic though.

Following first 2 weeks on the job, our group went out for drinks and she joined us. To cut story short, we spoke to each other for half an hour or so and the convo was rather pleasent, but afterwards to ANs told me that she was clearly flirting.

The next day, I was suddenly assigned to the project... with her. It turns out that she dropped other SA folk from the project and specifically asked for me, as "I was a rock-solid perfomer she needs". Since them, she consistently makes an effort to spend as much time with me as possible. Her body language is very flirtatious, such as putting her hand on my shoulder for extended periods, and she makes comments like, "Your fingers are impressively swift in making an order" (when I was asked by an Asso to format slides and align logos during an internal meeting).

How should I navigate this situation? It's clearly awkward and problematic. She is in her 50s and clearly flirts with me. My class is cracking jokes about it. Moreover, I have fiancee, but I havent tell her yet.

EDIT: I know it seems funny, but this one is a serious question, I'd rather never had to make

Yeah I reckon that keeping things professional and toeing to the line is the best avenue in my position. I am quite worried of possible repercussions and that it may affect my return offer.

Do you think that reporting it to HR would be a good idea? If i wont report, it would seem as though nothing happened and she could easily dump my offer

HR will choose MD over you, even if it really makes you that uncomfortable. just not worth it

Tell her to front you $5k and that within a year you can generate 100% returns on investment.
She will say “ I don’t believe you”

She knows what she wants. You know what you must do. Secure the offer.

I’m glad you could be a “rock-solid performer” for her.

I hooked up with an MD at MS. She was lesbian, but couldn’t pass up the opportunity to hook up with me. She had this massive apartment in midtown. She had a Volcano and kept her weed in the freezer. She didn’t want to smoke, but I spent the whole evening on that Volcano. I left and we didn’t exchange numbers and I never saw her again.

what's a Volcano?

It's a vaporizer for weed.

I'll pass on some second-hand wisdom from another thread where this exact situation happend. In very casual conversation, mention small things like dinner plans with the fiancee or breakfast with her was X, so that's why you're early today. Once she finds out you're very not single, she will likely dial down the passes. The goal is to mention it subtlely and have it not be the focal point of the conversation.

A nice simple way is to say "do you have any summer plans for the remainder of August?" "Oh? Paris, that's lovely! I haven't been, but I'm hoping to get the fiancee out to Belgium this year."

If it persists beyond that, try this appraoch in a group setting, it would be very odd for the MD to do this after her and other colleagues know you're taken.

Yep been there, just try your best to be professional, secondly women like that have rapid mood swings today she likes you tomorrow she hates you. Do you have a picture of your girlfriend on your desk? You should.
