In what has to be one of the most disturbing videos to hit the internet in some time, a video was posted on LiveLeak last evening. In the video, a girl who looks like she’s in her early 20′s, is seen throwing 6 puppies into a river. She picks each one up and throws them seemingly as hard as she can into the water.The internet has been ablaze with people enraged by this woman’s horrible actions. Last week the internet got enraged over some woman throwing a cat into a garbage bin, and now this. The reason why this girl would do such a thing, or who she is, is unknown, however reports indicate that the video is coming out of Croatia. It really is hard to imagine how the person filming it all could just sit back and watch. PETA has notified activist groups in that country of this extremely disturbing video. Ashley Fruno, from PETA Asia stated, “Video-sharing sites have unfortunately allowed uncaring individuals to publicize cruelty they inflict on animals.” Please only watch if you have a stomach for such things.

I realize Croatia is a 3rd world country and all, but who the fuck throws a bucket of puppies into the river.
Then again, part of me wants to think this wasn't some devious, cruel act and the family had no money to pay for the dogs or vet bills or anything and this was the most humane way of putting the animals down. I think if this happened in the USA I would be 10x more upset. You can't really expect people in Croatia to have money to take proper care of animals.

As bad as this is going to sound to PETA/WSO member, the woman almost did the dogs a favor. SHe obviously had them and wasn't going to take care of them so she had 2 options. Either dump 'em in a river or let them become one of thousands of stray, dying cats/dogs swarming the Balkans who before getting runned over or killed, they'll spend their few years pestering people and digging out garbage cans. FYI, I don't condone the girls actions.

Just for the record, drowning puppies is the traditional way of population control, before neutering and spraying became fashionable. So stop acting like a bunch of pussy ass liberals, and know that this used to be quite common and maybe still is in certain areas of the world
I think this is horrible.
BUT
Where I grew up, this was a fairly common practice. More so for kittens, but typical population control involved burying or drowning, though in a bag with rocks, rather than like this. When I was 6, and was not aware of such things, I remember hearing sounds coming from the ground and digging up a bag with 4 alive kittens in it [all of which died soon there-after]. So not uncommon at all in eastern Europe. Now as for the girl's glee at the act... that's fucked up.

While I am saddened by the video I do realize that horrible things happen all the time. Sadly, drawing animals is one of the less cruel things I have witnessed.
I've seen the cat in ye micro video and it is shocking. To take pleasure in killing an otherwise loving and defenseless animal basically makes u a monster.
Of course it is painless, but drawing animals won't kill them. Or maybe if you misrepresent them bad enough to provoke their suicide.
Joke aside, never heard of burrying alive before. Drowning? Heard of. The most common method I knew was putting them in a bag with some ether. They die peacefully, I've been told.
