Had to post this...

Seeing as how there is a large group of people on this blog who enjoy reading about/debating current events & the military I just had to post this story.

Not normally a big fan of the NYT / might not agree that it is a great idea to post info like this after being asked not to by the WH (granted the WH lifted the request) - but this story is sweet.

Makes me proud there are people like this who are willing to risk it all for us back home.

Well worth the read. One of the better quotes from the story.

"As the Land Cruiser drove “recklessly” back to the consulate, the report said, items fell out of the vehicle, including 100 bullets, a black mask and a piece of cloth with the American flag."
