Health and Wealth

Hello all!

I would like to ask:

With work taking up virtually every hour of the day, does anyone struggle staying in shape? Anyone here facing health issues because of your work schedule? How do you confront this?

Thank you!

The only way to confront it is to prioritize it. If you think you work too much to stay in shape - you are wrong.

For most of us, it's unrealistic to out work a poor diet - so start there. At a minimum cut our garbage food and, if possible, limit alcohol as needed. If you are traveling.. good luck, but try and stick to some type of schedule. Sleep - don't be a hero and stay up all hours unless you have to.

Working out? Focus on consistency vs. volume. A few 30 minute (or even 20 minute) sessions are better than saying 'oh, I don't have time for that 45 minute weight session'.

Last - pay up for your health. Spend the extra five bucks for a decent meal. Buy the gym membership next door or a decent piece of equipment for your house. I have to say that not going to the gym anymore has actually improved my fitness - rather than spend 15 there, 15 back + my workout, I roll out of bed and just crush it.
