I have an iPad 2, iPhone 4s, and MacBook Pro all in front of me right now.
Thing is, I am not even a huge Apple fan, or loyal in any way whatsoever. Their stuff is just so much more awesome looking than any other company's products.
When you're in class, look around. The only people with phones out or laptops open are those with iPhones and MacBooks. I've been studying this phenomenon for years, it's almost as if people that own other brands are embarrassed to pull them out in public.
Think Different, indeed
Obviously Apple is a great company but I don't see why their products are so popular. The only Apple product I own is the iPhone, although I think Android phones are great, iPhone is by far the most user friendly smartphone on the market. That being said, everything else that Apple makes I would never consider buying. I think Macbooks are pieces of shit and iPads are a second tier product. I just bought an asus transformer tablet for $250, which is half the price of the bottom of the line iPad and 3x the specs. Seriously cannot stand that people love Apple so much, many of their products remind me of the Jitterbug, that phone for old people where you can't customize anything and as long as you're cool with that, it's fine.
