How do people use marijuana in high finance

Current sophomore undergrad who likes a bit of pot, how do people in high finance roles (s&t, IB, PE, etc) use weed? Will people get tested before superdays/onboarding and if they do, for roles in NYC is weed an accepted substance? If it isn't allowed if you get a medical card will it be okay or will you also be fired/barred from employment?

Need to know ASAP so I can cut it now rather then later when I have interviews soon.

I’ve met a bunch of people in finance in NYC who like to unwind after work with a little 420. Not sure what the big deal is.

Every. Damn. Day.

I can tell if an employee is a pothead right away. As soon as I figure it out, I work to have that individual fired.

WTF is wrong with you

Anyone try pot gummies or chocolate bars before?

Yeah they are good, just don’t overdo it and take more when you think the initial ones didn’t kick in and then they all kick in at the same time and you’re blown out of your mind.

I'd be shocked, in 2024, if the people you work for actually care about recreational weed. Don't show up to work high, like you wouldn't show up to work drunk, and you'll be fine.

Nobody would care if you smoke weed but having a reputation as a pothead would ding you for sure.

What is worse - pothead or cokehead?
