How do you drink your coffee?

I like both hot and iced. Grande hot from Starbucks I’d add 4 cream, 3 Splenda.

For iced coffee, I think cold brew is better than regular iced. Nitro from Starbucks is good but I refuse to pay that much.

If I’m in office, I’ll probably have at least 1 cup. If not, I don’t really get coffee unless I’m not eating that day and get super hungry

- 4 shots of Starbucks Breakfast Blend Espresso

- Silk Dark Chocolate Almond Milk

- On ice

Yeah it’s 17g sugar for a cup and I just use it as creamer so probably only 3-4g.

Arroz con Pollo

Lots of added sugar in that milk but you're in shape so must not be hurting you

Also, I was talking about 3-4g of sugar in a creamer and you started a thread about sodas with 40g sugar in a 12oz. lololol

I'm the absolute devil's advocate. I can't stand coffee. I used to drain Rockstar to the point where if I didn't have one in my hand every morning the question would be "what's wrong with them?"

Double espresso with milk or just an espresso with milk.

It's not exactly a capuccino because it doesn't has equal proportion of milk and coffee, it's more 1/4 milk and 3/4 espresso. I add the milk because it makes the coffee whiter so it doesn't stain the teeth as much as a pure black espresso.

Fellow pourover enthusiast here. It takes a little bit, but hands-down it's the best 'daily coffee' that I could imagine. I'd say a beginner coffee drinker probably wouldn't be able to tell a massive difference between a standard drip and a pourover, but I (for better or worse) can most certainly do it!

Any grinder upgrade suggestions? I have the Fellow Ode w/ the Kettle/Stagg kit, but the Ode has been throwing grounds like crazy. This is the second time, too - the first time I sent it back and Fellow gave me a brand new one. It worked well for a year or so, but been doing it again. Just irritating when you pay $300 for a grinder to do that.

If I'm traveling, some kind of latte. If I'm home or at work, either a red eye or just plain black. We got a Keurig in the office so I'm looking for some recommendations.

Vietnamese coffee. I can't really do most coffee because of the taste (I'm lame I know), but Vietnamese coffee (i.e. arabica coffee dripped into condensed milk) is so delicious and sweet. Normally served iced, I like to have my hot to give myself an extra jolt. I've got my metal filter, condensed milk, the whole setup in the office. The metal filter is very slow, but gives me an excuse to go for a walk (takes mine about 7-9 minutes to drip) or have some watercooler talk. Also an icebreaker since I'm still meeting people in the office.

At home? Double shot +1 long pull from my old Saeco superauto.  I'm not going to claim it's great, especially since I use cheap TJ's beans, but it's still miles better than Starbucks. I don't even use water from the brita pitcher since I only refill the tank about once a week.  Black, obviously.

At work, if I have the choice I'll do our (LaColumbe) nitro cold brew.  For some reason, with the low acidity I feel like I need a splash of milk in it.  I prefer cow, either whole or skim, since you can really taste plant milks in that coffee.  In the frequent situation that the keg is empty, I'll get a triple "espresso" over ice from our machines.  It's better than it sounds, and I know that they use good For-Five whole bean coffee, but I just don't think those things can build the pressure for a real espresso.

If you force me to order from starbucks, I'll get a Trenta iced coffee.  Black & bitter like my soul.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

Coffee with a splash of almond milk and a touch of honey.

Switch up the honey with pure maple syrup - you’ll thank me.

Just black in the office hot. People who use too much cream annoy me. I know that makes me a bigot. I don’t care. It’s disgusting to put that much cream in a coffee and you deserve to be judged - if the porcelain throne does not judge you anyways. It’s not healthy. Normal black coffee? Good for maintaining weight. Sugar and cream coffee? A dessert and hardly coffee
