I just have a list of people I care to stay in touch with, both local & in other parts of the country. It's easy to lose track for people while you're living your life. I look at it & when I see it's been a while since we last talked I call them up (if they live in a differenet place). If they live in the same place, then I just text them & make plans. No calendarization or anything like that

Professionally speaking, outside of my firm (pretty much the first place I've worked at after graduating barring a brief 3 month stint) there are maybe 2-3 people I really know that I want to stay in touch with. Those I just remember, at some point if the list gets big would make sense to make a calendarized excel sheet.
