How hard is finance?
I think that to be truly good at finance there is a lot of reading and studying.
For example, Rosenbaum has around 800 pages and that's only to understand IB.
CFA (900 hours approx. ) only to understand investments.
To understand the Stock Market, you have the classics from Graham all the way to more modern books.
Corporate Finance, again, 2 classics over there and some more.
Behavioural finance, again, a bunch of studies to read.
And all of that is just to understand the main theories, but then you have other books and papers about exceptions to the rule, practical cases, etc.
So, how can people say that finance is easy?
Lmao, people in finance generally do one of these, formally, if that.
Core financial concepts are not hard.
