How has #metoo affected you, if at all, as men? I am NOT a fan of #metoo, as a woman. I don't like it for reasons that may be different than your own. Since this is an anonymous board, I would appreciate your candidness.

Have you actually heard of a sexual harassment accusation over a simple compliment (that's not "nice tits, sugar"), or is this hypothetical?
yeah i have actually. I heard about this guy in a story I read a while ago that said "hey good looking" to a woman and almost went to jail. I get that some women don't want to hear that kind of stuff, but really? She called that sexual harassment?

You have to be extremely careful and mindful of every social context.
When I go on a date, I text a few of my trusted friends that I'm out on a date and the location. That way, if we sleep together, and she accuses me of rape, I have an alibi.
At work, I only discuss work related matter with women: no personal talk or even talk about how their weekend went. Strictly professional.
When I'm in an elevator or any confined space with women, I make sure that my arms are straight in front of me, lest they falsely accuse me of touching them inappropriately.
In today's dark times, when bogus accusations can ruin a man, you can never be too safe.
