I feel you on the not studying and worries about SA. Start working out, I bought a home gym kit before everything kicked off. If you're in the UK get sunbathing. Life is not about IB.

saying you're waiting for us to wake up, I'm guessing you're in a country with pretty strict quarantine procedures. a couple of specific thoughts for you

  1. when are your exams? if they're close, start studying today. if they're not, create a study plan. maybe you just brush up 30 mins a day until it's crunch time, or maybe it's more/less involved than that. make a plan, and stick to it.

  2. follow up with your network connections. obviously you can't cold call an HR person because they got bigger fish to fry, but reach out, let them know you're still interested. you may get crickets, or they may remember you if they cull the list of SAs. checking email is reactive, you need to be proactive sometimes.

  3. what are you doing for exercise? can't get outside and run? there are millions of free workouts now online, get off tiktok, get your sweat on

  4. what about your mental health? have you tried yoga/meditation? they help bro, dnn't knock it until you've tried it. you've tried it and hated it? good, you haven't looked hard enough, keep trying. there's routines out there for everyone.

  5. what is something you've always wanted to learn that you've never had the time for? maybe it's a science, a language, a cooking skill, an art skill, an instrument. all of those things can be done inside with social distancing. use this found time to grow as a person, not succumb to boredom and despair.

focus on what you can do, not what you cannot do. if you're bored, I hate to say it, you're just not trying hard enough. change your attitude, and your situation will change as well.

godspeed

Mate you sound like a carbon copy of me right now. We just got to sit tight my guy

London on my side, locked down but least the weather has been great. Updating WSO and e-mails every 20 min re BB conversion, but in all fairness we should not worry about things beyond our control. What are you keeping busy with?
