I mean anyone with access or prior knowledge of his tweets can literally make a riskless profit, the textbook definition of arbitrage.
So... Is that not illegal to shake confidence in the US Economy with advanced notice and full knowledge of the consequential movement?
The contrarian opinion would view that any market moving information is known ahead of time and could be treated with the same scrutiny (like monetary policy press releases or updates) and they have never been treated nor widely believed to have been trading on advanced knowledge.
