Is it awkward when you’re going to work for someone that ghosted you?
Caption above. Working and realized I’m working with someone senior that ghosted me during my email/networking phase. Would it be a weird interaction?

Imagine how many people try to network with them. Also, it most likely wasn’t personal.
I have acquaintances I keep in touch with but don’t talk business with. One’s a salesman who does that stupid Aptive stuff. Dude makes like $80k a year do not bad, but I could never. Everything about the dude is related to his job selling solar panels to old people who don’t need them

Second the above, its only awkward if you make it so. They probably didn’t mean to ghost/got busy with other things.
And since you’re asking this… don’t ever bring it up to anyone at the office..no friends/other juniors etc … if the senior ever brings it up, just pass it off along the lines of “not a problem” but they won’t…
Just act like it never happened. That's it. It never happened you're about to meet a new colleague you've never met.
Don't take it personal. You don't have a personal/direct social connection with them anyway. I wouldn't count this as being ghosted.
Happened to me. Partner ghosted me then I ended up working in a cubicle right next to his office. Got coffee with him once a few weeks after strong and we still exchange pleasantries but neither one of us has acknowledged it.
It's really not that big of a deal - I can only imagine how many networking calls or requests any senior gets, and if they ghost then half the time it's got nothing to actually do with you specifically
