Joe Rogaine Sells Out

Joey Rogenstein been my ride or die in the earbuds for like 6 years now. Heard every non-MMA episode since like episode 250. His podcast is ceasing to be a podcast as it's no longer on an RSS feed as of Dec 1? It's just like a Spotify show now. And Rogan, I'm not breaking my whole podcast rotation just to hear you give Miley Cyrus free counseling for 4 hours.

Sucking dat green weenie. Dat Spotify green weenie. gobble gobble

A lot of older episodes have already been removed. Spotify is for sure gonna force direct editing oversight.

All that aside, dude just got kinda gay bro. I feel like he got kinda gay. He's so measured now and so afraid to say anything controversial. Afraid to hurt everyone's soft little feelings. Afraid to get called out. Making apology posts nonstop for trivial shit.

God damn. Too bad so sad I'm out.

Actually not sad though because he's been kind of annoying for like 2 years now and I finally have an excuse to stop listening to him and fill that time with the shitload of fantastic podcast content out there I actually do want to listen to and that doesn't discuss exclusively social justice garbage and conspiracy theories.

I can’t believe people listen to Rogan’s podcast. He’s a hack job who thinks he’s an intellectual. I could find 12 guys just like him at my local sports bar

Joe Rogan opened his mind up so much that his brain fell out

I’m a fun guy. Obviously I love the game of basketball. I mean there’s more questions you have to ask me in order for me to tell you about myself. I'm not just gonna give you a whole spill... I mean, I don't even know where you're sitting at

Bro you're totally entitled to your feelings, but I loved the Miley episode almost as much as the Alex Jones ones. She's my fuckin jam queen and hearing her talk about what she looks for in a man gave me fuel to go hard on the utterly impossible chance I run into her on my next drive through the countryside. Don't even care if she tore apart my life like a wrecking ball I just wanna powder her dog's butt with her by candlelight.

Did you catch the one with Mike Tyson announcing his comeback? Even Trump retweeted Mike talking about how beating the snot out of folks is orgasmic. Plus Ron White is always funny as hell and the Edward Snowden ones are pretty interesting IMO.

The older episodes getting removed hasn't been addressed by Spotify yet, though Joe said before this whole thing started that the agreement was licensing only and he still kept full control. There's been a few articles about the blue-haired fuckwits who work there trying to censor him for being transphobic and other stuff so maybe it's some rogue operatives pulling stuff down internally. I have a friend who works as a Dev there who has expressed plenty of disdain for how many snowflakes outnumber the normies and went apeshit when the deal first happened. I'm sure Joe will have a bone to pick with Daniel Ek if this doesn't get resolved before he pulls all the other feeds. This was a huge shift and it's been less than a month since it all started, of course shit's still getting ironed out.

And even if he does decide to let their stupid decisions stand, as Spotify will probably cave to the lefties, the man gave us ~10 years of amazing content. Now he gets to license it out for $100M. That's not weakly selling out, that's a god tier exit for a one man show. #weloveyouyoungjaime

Triggered Spotify emplyees are already trying to cancel/edit/modify JRE episodes:

Some staff inside the company feel alienated by Spotify's hosting of certain The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) episodes, according to copies of some of the questions presented to the meeting obtained by Motherboard. The news signals how Spotify, as it moves into the podcasting space beyond music, is facing content moderation decisions more commonly associated with social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. Spotify has already removed JRE episodes with some right-wing figures, including Alex Jones and Gavin McInnes.

His "transphobic" episode was with a woman who has worked with lots of actual transgender people and is friends with some.

She pointed out how lots of teens who aren't actually transgender are thinking they are. She pointed out how it's a public health crisis. How in the world is that transphobic?

When I was 15, I thought I might have a secret superpower.

You shouldn't be able to have a sex change operation if you can't legally drink.

It's not, but these people are by definition for the most part mentally ill so they can't help but react violently when their fractured worldview is challenged. They desperately need treatment and deserve sympathy. Instead the far left plays into the delusion, even though studies have shown pre vs post-op transitioning has no discernible benefit in reducing likelihood of suicide. This perverse show of "support" is tantamount to celebrating your alcoholic friend keeping on the bottle because they're more fun when they drink and you don't have the heart to tell them they need help.

Despite this stance, I have no issue with a legal adult deciding they want to do something with their own body. Sovereignty of the individual is sacred. But the idea we're letting kids, who are by all accounts fucking stupidly impressionable (condom challenge, tide pod challenge, TikTokers filing their teeth) get sucked into this? Abhorrent. There's already hundreds of cases of people who went through gender reassignment surgery who regret the decision, but they've irreparably mutilated themselves beyond repair so what's their recourse? There's a storm of lawsuits coming in the next 5-10 years mark my words.

If you listen to enough episodes, you quickly realize he offers no original thought- he is always spewing the exact same shit usually along the lines if: mainstream media chasing revenue, political divide, importance if ohysical exercise/eating well, and then something about the 9-5 life being mundane.
