I don’t think people really understand the truth of this. Tim Walz himself talked about socialism on the White Dudes for Harris call (link below). The goal is to destroy capitalism and replace it with socialism. What better way to increase public support for socialism than to literally destroy the fabrics of capitalism? People think this is just slander but truly if you want people to embrace socialism, you must first tear down the foundations of capitalism which we’ve been witnessing over the past 4 years. This really has been the plan all along.

Not gonna trust the opinion of the guy who doesn't actually know how federal government works. The Vice President has, literally, almost no power, and I only say "almost" because I understand the definition of the word literally.
Perhaps the only effective VP we've had is, ironically, Michael Pence, and only then because he didn't go along with an armed putsch to install a senile dictator. Every other VP has done nothing except cast tiebreaking votes in the Senate... which is exactly as intended. They're just supposed to wait for the President to die

I would not be concerned if she literally did not do anything. Historically, most VPs have not really done anything noteworthy.
The problem I have with Harris is that when she does do something, she seems to do a kinda shit job of it. This applies to her time as VP, her attempt to secure the nomination during the Democratic primaries, and also her time as California AG and as a Senator, from what I know of it as a non-CA resident.
Seems to be a classic case of failing upwards.

The probability of the dems keeping the presidency in 2024 has to be low. The primary hope they have would be if Trump runs again. The ads that would be run against him would be damaging.
I don’t think it’s over at this point, I mean we’re probably 1.5 years out from people starting to crystallize their vote. But it would probably require a Volcker style recession and rapid growth heading into 2024. The problem is it’s likely too late for that and I doubt Powell has Volcker’s spine. The early 80s recession started before Reagan took office and by the back half of 83/ into 84 the economy was roaring.
Trump can be beat but even that is far from guaranteed. Nightmare scenario for Democrats is DeSantis beating Trump straight up with a coalition of never trumpers and establishment types, suburban whites etc with most of the donor class riding with him, combined with Biden running again.
“VPs don’t do anything” is a civics truism that’s decades out of date. We’ve had active, influential VPs for quite a while now.
Kamala isn’t one of them because the rest of the administration realizes she’s an idiot and would fuck up any assignment the put her on. They don’t trust her.

Well, if we went back to 2020 levels that would be a start. 239,416 illegal border crossings in May 2022 is unacceptable. The current administration doesn’t give a shit about the border.

It is pretty amazing. She can’t even interview right now. We know she doesn’t have the answers. She is running based on her policy stance. I think she is afraid of being “caught” by questions. But, she has the full backing of the Democratic Party and people who don’t support Trump by default have to vote for her. Turns out, it could be a close race.
