Living at home vs renting

Howdy!

Choosing between living at home (in a nice apt and large bedroom in a good part of Manhattan) during my analyst years and renting.

Independence is something I value, but ultimately I feel like having almost no bills from 22-24 could be huge and allow me to put away a lot of savings. I figure this would be bad for meeting girls, but I realistically don't know how much of that is going to be happening during my analyst years anyway...

My family home also has great subway access so I'm very tempted to j do that, but want to hear what others' experiences have been.
