Thread of the Week:

There was some great stuff over the past week, but nobody brought the heat like @DickFuld in his thread From non-target to BB CEO: My story. I'm not even sure what to call it. Trolling? Too detailed and well thought out to be called pure trolling. And I'll admit that more than once I stopped and asked myself, "Jesus, what if Dick really has nothing better to do?". Well played, sir. Well played. The thread pulled in 165 (often hysterical) comments, 15 Silver Bananas, and 24 Facebook Likes.

Comment of the Week:

Comment of the Week this week goes to @"LBJ's hair" on the LMFAO Check out this email thread about the kid who thought he was too good to work at Wells and sent an email to Wells HR stating as much, which then got forwarded to every corner of Wall Street, thereby destroying any chance this kid ever had to work in the business. @Marcus_Halberstram brought up the valid point that the trend of forwarding these things around and wrecking people's careers before they begin is a pretty shitty thing to do, and that comment earned him 4 SBs, but LBJ countered with the fact that this particular kid was a bona fide douchecanoe as evidenced by his various public social media posts, etc. At the end of the day you don't want to work next to a graceless jerkoff, so it looks like justice was served in this case.

Guidance Counselor:

Really no contest here with @moneymogul and his series on the first four weeks of IBD internship. The series was enormously helpful and racked up an astounding 89 Silver Bananas and 4 Facebook Likes. That has to be some kind of record.

Honorable Mention:

@notthehospitalER had a fantastic post this week titled, The 6 Ways In Which Failure Made Me A Man which pulled in 6 Silver Bananas and 11 Facebook Likes. Really inspirational stuff, and if you haven't seen it you should go check it out now because it would be a great way to start your week.

Most Active Monkeys:

@"Simple As..." really set the pace over the past week with 210 banana points. No one else was even close (easy to understand with Thanksgiving and all).

New WSO Certified Users:
I wanted to take the space here to thank and congratulate the new Certified Users from the past week. Welcome to the club.
