Moving to NYC -- Rental Broker Worth it?
Moving to NYC this summer and starting to look at the rental market. Was wondering what you guys thought about using a rental broker instead of doing it all myself on StreetEasy. Found a great broker recommended by a friend who would charge 1 month rent for their fee. Looking at how crazy the rental market is in Manhattan, I'm thinking it could be worth it -- especially for making sure my roommates get their shit together. On the other hand, have no experience here so would appreciate anyone's insight. Thanks in advance.
Hi pintglass07, check out these threads:
You're welcome.
It's a gamble. NYC is saturated with rental brokers, if anything, I'd expand to North Jersey as well just because that's really where majority move to because Manhattan is too expensive and maybe even Brooklyn.
