Both the Sixers and the Nets have been very good this year. It should be an exciting year for fans in the northeast. If the Nets top 3 are healthy, it looks like they are going to be a contender
The Sixers are probably deeper than the Nets and I am not sure who can stop Embiid. Last night, on the way to the hoop, the dude ran over Rudy Gobert ( 7ft/260 pounds) like he was a ballerina.
I love the Sixers team, I think they just need a couple of additions to make the finals.
I am not really sure what they need. May be another play making guard. I have to give some credit to the Knicks. Randle has been phenomenal.
Embiid is so damn good. I think they gotta make a move to get Lowry - Simmons, Lowry, Curry, Harris, Embiid is a nice looking lineup
Lowry would make sense.
Agree big time, he would add veteran presence and some pretty good shooting. That, combined with Simons and Embiid being extremely hungry might take them all the way.
Embiid is the MVP right now, nobody can change my mind. So pumped to see him playing like this. He and Ben should also be in the DPOY running. And if we can somehow bring Lowry home, I think we have all the pieces. DO IT MOREY.
Would you take FVV over Lowry?
I’d prefer Lowry. Their stats are really close this season but he’s shooting a little better + vet presence. Just afraid of what we’d have to give up, I really like shake/tisse/maxey.
Nets haven't even unlocked their full potential yet.
I would much rather Zach LaVine he would fit better than Lowry
The bulls are not going to give up LaVine unless the return is substantial. There is probably a better chance of getting Lowry due to his age. Also, LaVine is more of a shooting guard and the Sixers have a few of them.
I'm going to disagree here. Lowry is a better defender and playmaker, plus he has more playoff experience. Also, the Bulls would want way more for LaVine than the Raptors would want for Lowry. Take away LaVine and the Bulls' chances of making the playoffs for the first time in years falls off a cliff; can't say the same for Lowry and the Raps. Not to mention that LaVine's constant improvement, youth, great shooting, and athleticism place his value at a very high premium. Just does not seem realistic or like the move that would make the Sixers better
Yeah, the Sixers should make a trade for Lowry. He is very annoying to play against due to him taking charges so I would like to have him on our side. Toronto is going no where and may as well rebuild. Send Maxey and a couple of draft picks to get him
I'm Canadian and a long time Raptors fan so my dislike for the Nets runs deep but man KD Harden Kyrie trio is hard to bet against. Trading Jarret Allen was probably a blow defensively especially against Embiid but I think they have more than enough talent to make up for it.
Sixers fan here.. they are a couple (minor) pieces away from being a finals team this year IMO... the bench has seriously lacked when the starters rest. Lowry would make sense, maybe someone like Josh Hart/PJ Tucker?? Needless to say, it's always fun to watch when you have the DPOY, MVP, and a 40/50/90 (Tobias) all sharing the court together
"depth" is overrated when you're running 8-9 man rotations in the playoffs anyways. also sure embiid could go for 40+10 nightly but nobody's stopping Harden, KD and Kyrie
