Need advice: keep my current iPhone or upgrade to 13?

I have a XS I’m happy with apart from the battery being dogshit. Thinking of upgrading to the base 13 when the 14 comes out to take advantage of carrier incentives. Is it worth the upgrade, or should I change my battery. Also I’m paying for a 5G unlimited plan, is there really any difference between LTE and 5G?

Thank you monkeys.

I've got the iPhone 13 Pro Max, love everything about it. Battery is good, it's quick, I can comfortably write three word emails to my Associate from anywhere, it connects to my Apple Watch and AirPods simultaneously. - also got 5G connectivity which is dope.

Life is a road... and I love creating potholes

I do not upgrade until the battery life turns to shit.  A couple of years ago I upgraded to the Iphone 13 Pro Max .  I like the phone but I mostly use it for calls, email and surfing.

A couple of years ago? The iPhone 13 came out on Sept. 14, 2021, so this statement is a lie.

I guess it was the 12.  You should ask WSO for a refund

I upgraded from the iPhone XS to an iPhone 13 Pro recently due to battery issues on the XS. Love the new phone, definitely worth the upgrade! You do notice a difference between 4G (XS) and 5G (13 Pro), all web pages etc load so quickly

I would get the 13, your battery is only going to get significantly worse (it's just battery wear and tear, not really an XS-specific battery issue) and the battery is expensive enough to replace. BUT wait another few weeks for the iPhone 14 to come out as they will drop the price on the 13
